Basal cell carcinoma and cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma are two of the most common types of cancer in the U.S. People over the age of 65 are at a greater risk for non-melanoma skin cancer, which can be removed when it’s caught early, but becomes more difficult to treat at advanced stages. Being proactive about your skin health and staying vigilant about sun protection is very important.
